Context
Many shop or freelance projects fail on a calculation that never really gets done: what revenue covers the costs, and what revenue actually pays the founder? Existing spreadsheets are either too vague or built for accountants only.
What I did
A single-page tool, no account or install: an 8-step wizard turns an idea (consulting, shop, SaaS, food service…) into costed assumptions, then the app computes cash flow, after-tax break-even, a financing plan and compares legal statuses in France or Berlin. A trade-area map and an AI location analysis (Workers AI) round out the study for brick-and-mortar shops.
Outcome
Deployed publicly on Cloudflare Pages with no backend to maintain: every calculation runs in the browser, only the location analysis goes through a serverless function.
The process
Start from an idea, not a blank spreadsheet
An 8-step wizard (project, activity, customers, offers, location, team, money, status) turns an idea into costed assumptions: eight archetypes (consulting, creative, SaaS, e-commerce, shop, food service, trades…) pre-fill fitting prices, costs and tax status, ready to adjust.

The break-even point, visually
The after-tax break-even point reads straight off a revenue/cost chart, with the date it's reached in the year and the safety margin. A second dashed curve adds what else needs to be sold for the founder to actually get paid, not just to cover costs.

Sizing up a location before signing a lease
For a physical shop, a Leaflet map shows the trade area around the entered address, with manually added competitors and points of interest. An AI analysis (Cloudflare Workers AI) can also suggest an estimate of foot traffic, competition and the area's potential, to be checked on site.
